Having studied and practiced ballet for the last 14 years, Julia has a deep understanding of its technique. Regardless of whether the class is for beginners, amateurs or professionals, she likes to teach ballet with a contemporary approach: allowing the students to breath, to listen to their bodies, avoiding to look at their shape in the mirror, etc.
I like to improve the dancers’ awareness of not only of our body but also of our energy flow as we move and dance through the space, allowing them to discover the joy of ballet and use it as a playful tool to gain skills such as balance, strength, coordination, speed of motion, and many more.
