The 7 main chakras (Root, Sacrum, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, Crown) are connected by two energetic channels: Ida (feminine - yang energy) which flows from Root to Crown, and Pingala (masculine, yin energy) from Crown to Root; forming a double helix.

A round trip from Root to Crown intends to represent this travelling energy that we all have in our body and rules our everyday life.

This solo is a journey,
from root to crown,
from infrared to ultraviolet,
passing through all the spectrum of colors.

This solo is a ritual,
you will witness
my 7 chakras* spinning here,
one by one, getting aligned
as I dance.

* The word “chakra” comes from Sanskrit and means “wheel” or “center”. They are round and colorful energetic centers, responsible of the energy flow in the body. They function as an apparatus that connects the physical and energetic body.
